Where something was created does not define what country invented it. It is to do with the Inventor and always has been. Only a ******, I suppose yourself can be named as that, would suggest the location of where something was invented lays claim to it being invented by that Nation.

An inventor IS the person. That means the invention comes from that person.

He was not Canadian-America, he was born in Canada. His parents were Scottish immigrants. American's are only trying to call him that because he lived in America, or more importantly because they want some claim to the sport.

      Born November 6, 1861
Almonte, Province of Canada, British Empire

Naismith was the eldest child of Margaret and John Naismith, two Scottish immigrants. His mother, Margaret Young, was born in 1833 and immigrated as the fourth of 11 children to Lanark County, Canada in 1852.[4] His father, John Naismith, was born in 1836, left Europe when he was 18 and also settled down in Lanark County.[4] After marrying, John Naismith worked as a saw hand, but unfortunately, the couple soon contracted typhoid fever and died when Naismith was just 9 years old.[23] He was then raised by a strict, religious grandmother and his uncle Peter.[23][dead link]

Meh, it's the same damn road these thread's head to.

                  Footie is a global sport.

American's suck at soccer. (Except the women.)

Every sport ever thought of was created by the U.K.

                  NFL football players are "unskilled".

World class football (soccer) players are *******.

                  We're better then you.

                  You're better then us.

                  And so the story goes.

Yes but the TS is not banned by obvious troll attempt at nationalism so the war goes on.

No, only a ****** thinks that the Encyclopedia Britannica (one of the most authoritative encyclopedic sources in the world, as opposed to Wikipedia) is an American source. He was Canadian-American period, and even your dear Wikipedia says that.
