Froch is still in his prime, he should fight until his 40's. He can amass an epic resume by the time he retires.

If Froch beat Kessler in a rematch, which would obviously mean he beat Bute again, he'd be as good an option as any for Ward at 168, unless Dirrell actually beats some noteworthy fighters.
Hell, have a Dirrell-Froch rematch. Winner gets Ward.

The confidence a guy like Froch has is unbelievable. Ward dismantled him and he truly, genuinely wants to fight him again. It's the sort of borderline delusional self-confidence it takes to make it in a sport as hard as boxing I guess.

froch is certainly a boss in terms of wanting those fights. he's the man!! unfortunately, he has very little, to no chance, of beating ward, which is a shame, cause froch deserves to be a superstar!

actually Ward can go to LHW
he already proved he's the best at SMW
Froch wasn't humbled, but he was beaten clearly
a rematch isn't necessary or even appealing
good he has the guts to go back after Ward again
but Ward doesn't need him, he won decisively enough

Froch "I spoke to Kessler on the phone send I said let's get a fight on but he changed the subject and asked me how my mum was"
Quack Quack.
