Well back in 1981, when I became a single parent, I had to say no to a lot of jobs in boxing. The State of New Jersey wanted me to become a Referee and Judge, BUT I just couldn't, because I had to take care of my 4 kids. They needed me more then the sport of boxing.

I still became involved with many boxing Organizations, including the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame, Ring #9, #14, #20 #8 and the New Jersey Diamond Gloves.

You can read all about a lot of it by going to the following web sites:

Or you can google my name and see for yourself.

    Thanks once again, Henry Hascup

For a swarming pressure fighter, the best defense I've seen is a lightweight and welterweight Duran.

            I'll give you that.

For me, Duran was a ****ing animal. Like a street fighter with a boxing brain. All arms and guts. Shame he never got all the props he deserved, he was overshadowed by Hearns and Hagler and Leonard. Crying shame.

P4P Duran was better than Hearns, Hagler, or Leonard, but he ate his way out of his natural weight division, lightweight. He was unquestionably one of the greatest fighters of the 1970's and since, but he could have been even BETTER if he stayed at lightweight.

any man that can win a round without throwing a punch is without doubt one of the most amazing talents to ever step through the ropes.
