  • How Good could Brock Lesnar have been?

    Before he got seriously ill?

Lets be honest this guy was not your typical Human.. he has reached the top in the UFC, WWE and had a decent football career.

He rag dolled his opponents and moved with incredible speed for a guy of 267 pounds. The guy beatdown an experienced vet in Mir in one of his first fights in MMA only to get caught (due to his own inexperience). He later would destroy legends like Couture and Mir with ease and looked unstoppable.. before he got very ill..

Since he came back it's clear that he is not the same he can't seem to take punishment and be struck on the chin like he once did. People act like he is a bit of a joke now.. but if boxers/MMA fighters chins can get worse over time and with age.. surely a life threatening illness could affect it

I am 100% sure Brock in his prime would take Overeem down and pound his face in, Fedor would get worse treatment. It's a shame we will be unlikely to ever see him at his best again

So how good do you believe he could have been? i would say easily a top 5 mma HW

Reaching the top of the WWE isn't really a big accomplishment seeing as how it's fake. All you have to do is come up with a good character. He was a huge dude who looked like a beast, instant storyline right there.

And Kaps(the prick that he is) will delete this post.
I dunno he took shots from Couture/Mir.. but after illness he folds into a little ball after being struck once.

Still would have lost to Cain. The question should be how good could he have been if he started training MMA at age 15? or something along those lines

What could possibly be harder on your body than being a professional fighter? LOL. Maybe being Nikki Benz and taking huge cocks in your @ss

You dont get to be WWE champion with no wrestling talent.

Not relevant IMO. The better question is how good would he have been if he went straight from his great amateur wrestling days to MMA right after. He would have been sick, a force because he would be young and would have time to develop in all areas.

But now it makes no difference, he was always just a big bully with his speed and powerful wrestling. If he can't overpower you he's just not gonna win unless it's like the Carwin fight where Carwin punched himself out. I'm not sure if Brock could have even beat Tim Sylvia or Arlosvki in the UFC 40's to 60's when they ruled. I think Barnett, Rizzo, Randleman, and younger Coleman would have beat him back in the day too. He just started to late so he can't develop to a great skill level like he could if he started younger. Power only gets you so far.

Illness or no illness, he'd still have a terrible chin and he'd still do somersaults into the fetal/turtle position in the cage to avoid punches.
