Serious question: why is golf a sport?

Darts.

Just because you exert some energy while playing, doesn't not make it a sport. You can still play golf when your 80 for godness sake...

In closing, its not a sport.....

my grandpa is 85 and he still goes to the gym and play hoops with his buddies.

they're no longer good at it but...

does that make basketball no longer a sport because a few 80 yr olds are able to play it?

that ain't an easy feat.

in fact, it's an unbelievable feat considering you have to consistently hit a small target.

you could argue about golf and nascar, but baseball as a sport is not even debatable.

Its not a sport though, they're just specialists. Like a guy with big biceps isn't really in shape.

But it's an activity that involves physical prowess and or skill. Darts is a sport. Poker is not a sport.
