slip outside the straight right-lft hk body/head
slip inside straight right- lft hook over the top
inside left jab
duck under roll up with lft hk
catch rite straight with rite hand throw left hook
lean back make them miss- left hook
When ever your opponent throws a straight right, lean backwards to avoid the punch and throw simultaneouly a left hook. It is very effective, because when it hits to your opponents head, there meet to different strenghts which are going in two different directions, like a two cars in head-on collision.
if he throws a right hook or straight you can parry it with your left hand pushing it in the direction his hand is already moving which would build his momentum to turn left and then his chin would be exposed and BAM left hook to the jaw. If you are fast enough it will have a HUGE payoff.
ya know, I don't recall seeing many counter left hooks. Ususally slip back right hand. now, if you are new to boxing, i would not suggest trying to be floyd, but if you have been fighting for a while and want to add something new....
