hatton is a real smart fighter. Who lost to the best fighter since SRL. while Cotto lost AM. Hatton has better skills then Cotto.
Hatton could NEVER emulate the boxing skills that Cotto diplayed against Margo.

In reality they were running skills because he was fighting the bigger man.

Some might say clinching when fighting a bigger man was a skill.

      Who's approach worked best?

It is easier to clinch than be on your toes for eleven rounds throwing crisp clean counter pounches while avoiding the ropes. His defense alone for that fight was miles better than Hatton. He never lunged in with any of his punches like Hatton does.He fought the perfect fight and his will is what made him lose.

He could've clinched and helped himself out, he didn't and lost the fight trying to run.

He was out landing Marg with the cleaner shots while fighting on the back foot and off the ropes.

He sure as hell wasn't throwing any pitter patter shots neither, all those punches were thrown with bad intentions.

Hatton is just a one trick pony.

Yes ,I'm serious, Hatton would have never taken a knee like Cotto did . Sorry to tell you , But Cotto is mentaly soft, As he was proven tonight. Hatton would have gone to the body a lot more and would never run the way Cotto did . Embarrasing. Crackhead, don't talk like that to your mother, I'm pretty sure she a nice mother.

He wanted to make the fight exciting and not create a hug fest like the mini Jhon Ruiz.

You obviously haven't seen very many of his fights.

The Cotto last night would have killed ricky Hatton by brutal KO, and I mean brutal.

Sure he couldn't hurt the 5'11 Margerito, but Cotto's hand speed was crazy and so was his heart.

5'6 Hatton would have broken ribs.

I don't even want to think about what Marg would do to Hatton.
