The only thing i hate that Canelo's doing right now is fighting at all the stupid catchweights. This was his 3rd catchweight fight in a row. He should either fight at 160 or 154, enough with the catchweight crap.

What kind of gets me too is that the detractors of the "Mexican style" who say Mexicans are nothing more than face first brawlers and tough guys, are the same one's complaining and critiquing Canelo for not being exactly that!....LOL

So Canelo is not the prototypical Mexican fighter, and now he doesn't know how to cut the ring off.

The reality is, he isn't willing to take 3 shots to land one of his, and people still criticize the man.

True. He still got the W though, even though a lot of people thought he lost to Lara and Trout. At the end of the day the W is what counts. And it's not like they were robberies, they were close fights that could have gone either way.

lol this is what the haters have been saying. Whenever it is a close fight the haters will scream robbery if they don't like the guy, but whenever its a close fight and their fighter won, it was a wipe out.

Im here to say canelo won both of those fights 7-5

It really is quite a contradiction

canelo hype man needs to move up to his real weightclass (middleweight) and get good boy'ed by golovkin.
You do realize Lara is with Haymon right? Someone who gets accused left and right for playing the strings behind the scenes.

Canelo's game would be mixing it up. Trading shot, more of a toe to toe style, but not as far as being a brawler. He likes to fight as much (or more) than he likes to "box" (or running around the ring, landing a shot here and there.) And obviously these other guys are NOT comfortable doing that with him, right? There's a reason for that. Therefore, you couldn't "beat him at his game."

The drunk judge in each fight doesn't help. Two fights that can go either way and you have score cards of 117-111 and 118-110. That makes ppl feel like the fix was in even before the fight actually takes place.

Another funny thing is the Shobox team said how Shields was saying Lara is the master of making you adjust to his style.
Well guess what? Lara fought his style all fight and still lost.
Please don't argue that Canelo shouldn't of won, the fight is over and he got the W.
