Floyd does not belong to Junior Middleweight. He is too small for the weight, and he can be easily outweighed by 20+ pounds on fight night. That kind of advantage against boxers like Canelo or Trout is not the smartest thing to do.
Cotto is a small 154lbs, and yet he looked bigger than Mayweather.
If you cannot fight below welterweight, then you're at least a welterweight. And if you call yourself great & decide to fight at 154, act great & fight the real people there.
Mayweather is not a big WW,especially not at 154 , you can tell it, compare him to size of 154 fighters, Canelo, Trout and all of those guys tower over Mayweather.
But his anti-fans and the media want him to lose, so by putting him in there with guys that are definitely larger than him, they feel will have a better chance at beating him.
Granted Roberto Duran was smaller than Floyd Mayweather and he moved up in weight and took extreme challenges, something Mayweather or Pacquiao don't do.

I don't even know brother if you guys realize, but ginger does not tower over Floyd. He's not much bigger than 5-8 if he's even that.
Floyd is not obligated to fight at any weight... He can fight wherever he chooses as long as he makes weight. But as long as he has a belt and no.1 ranking there isnt much you can do about 154lb guys calling him out, and fans wanting to see those fights.
IMO you either think that Floyd is too small to fight at Jmw (ie he loses to Canelo, Trout), or, if you think he beats/is competitive with them, you want to see him take on the toughest challenges he can.
