More like a handicap placard.

Take the ball out of one the greatest playmakers hands and force the most dominant big man in the game to pass the ball.

That offense is good if you have a team of mediocre players but he is literally preventing each player from doing what they do best.

This Lakers will probably struggle early much like the Heat did a couple of years ago.

Alot of new players and a new system to mesh together and it ain't gonna happen overnight.

By mid season, the Lake show should be very dangerous as long as they all stay pretty healthy.

The Lakers are far from a finished product, they will get better. However, I think it would behove the Lakers to get off to the best start possible. I think home court advantage will be meaningful in the playoffs. If they start to slow they won't get the number 1 seed. I don't expect them to finish number 1 in the west anyway.
