    People circle.

Besides, the only use for wing chun is in cage tactics.

don't know too much about, but from what I see, it seems very vulnerable to counter punches. doesn't seem like a very effective martial art.

        Sorry your statement is crazy!

Yip Man was considered the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun openly. He had several students who later became martial arts teachers in their own right, including Bruce Lee.

Please dont assume the video posted was ALL of Wing Chun.

          2 reasons....

          1. Majority of MMA fighters aren't real martial artist in the first place. Just a bunch of guys who failed at wrestling, sucked at boxing, or liked to fight on the street that jumped into the game hoping to get some fame in a new popular sport.

          2. MMA has transformed to a style. It's no longer mixed. It's pretty much BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing and Wrestling. That's what MMA is now, a system of those 4 arts.

Wing Chun would definitely work in MMA. You just have to know how to use it. I know some of it but I doubt trapping would seriously work in MMA consistently. However, changing to the Wing Chun center line punching while a person is against the cage and covering up. The only way to get away from it is to run, you can't even counter it, if your trapped with your back against a wall. You would get a quick TKO/KO, if you really knew how to use it.
ie: muscles are trained to deliver powerful punches in this motion.

You don't see it in K-1 because it isn't practical in K-1 competition. Can't use it effectively with boxing gloves on, the best bet is mma style gloves.

Bruce Lee had one documented fight that many say he lost.

Not only do they say he lost but the guy he fought refused to kick Bruce the entire fight !!!

Bruce Lee is a hoax....look it up !!!

Jose Aldo would smash Bruce anyday !!!
