For example, if one of our fighters tests positive, then you notify us... and it ends there.

They are working for the companies paying them... not "boxing".
    Exactly that

Of course Hauser could be talking out of his ass in which he is finished as a writer.

We will see what the next days/weeks bring, but Hauser has probably opened a hornets nest.
That's it, time usually always gives us the answers in the end. Hauser has stirred up a big noise that i don't think will blow away as easily as Gabriel Montoya's did.

It's kinda funny how Mayweather and GBP slandered Pacquiao heavily in the media, even going as far as "putting hands on" Montoya, yet if someone from the media "asks" a question their way they get heavy with the legal guys quickly and fast....double standards ?
GBP have some explaining to do and that also includes why Quillin & Wrights test were taken and then dumped, but the jewel in the crown is a copy of the terms they have with USADA....time will hopefully tell.

Floyd is experienced at diverting attention away from himself, like a sleight of hand magician.

Similar to when before the hatton fight, he warned the referee about Hattons so called dirty tactics. The ref spent so much time concentrating on Hatton, he missed Floyds MMA elbow strikes all night.

Was it USADA that failed to notify Golden Boy about Peterson's failed blood test?

Absolutely. If there's no truth to this GBP and USADA will ensure that Hauser will only do kindergarten cartoons in the future.

But surely a man of Hauser's caliber knows that and is prepared.

          • I think Floyd is on TRT. The look on his face when a dude asks him about TRT is priceless. I mean you know all about PED's but you don't know what TRT is? come on son.

A lot of older UFC fighters use it and get away with it in vegas. Floyd at 35 looks to be the strongest his ever been. it's very strange.

No it was Vada... but they never received the necessary signed documents to release the information to a third party.

if a journalist like hauser vouches for a source he's putting his rep and his career on the line. for most boxing journalists that doesn't mean much. they don't even go to college. but for hauser that is a huge deal. he's a well paid writer with decades in this game. he's not going to put that on the line idly.
                Precisely.

People are attempting to act like Thomas Hauser is just some bummy no-name writer for ESB or something, but he's as credible and established as boxing journalists get, and he's laying his entire life's work on the line with these accusations.

It's not something a legitimate writer would do lightly.

The Clinton scandal started on a rumor.

The Edwards scandal started on a rumor.

The perjury scandal of Lewis Libby started on a rumor.

The Penn State scandal started on a rumor.

The list goes on and on, but you're obviously too biased to be objective about this.
dude, all of those started with sources and leaks. not rumors. smh. the fact that u are sitting here saying they did means u need to read more news and less tabloids. the journalists who broke those stories did not preface them on the fact that they heard some rumors. they had anonymous sources with info. just stop it, u are wrong. very wrong in fact.

The difference is if Floyd DID fail those tests and it can be proven, then PED use would be a fact, as opposed to Pac who has never failed any test of any kind which makes all accusations of Pac nothing more than rumors. But outside the ring IQ is in Pac's favor. He was not the one having to pay out of court for false accusations, Floyd was.

its VADA and its not VADA's fault. its GBP's fault... they did not signed the contract that will notify them if someone failed on the first sample.
