This guy is an absolute clown I've never known a fighter get so many excuses made for him and why he's fought bum after bum after bum despite being in one of the deepest divisions in boxing. This guy will go his whole career without fighting a single elite fighter, but p4p doe!!!

I'm a TC fan, but sometimes Bud really makes it sound like he's okay with letting his career go down the tubes. It's not his style, bu at 32 yrs old, he should be out every day calling out the elite fighters anywhere near his weight. I believe that he's a generational talent, but it seems like he may never actually prove it in the ring.

Not to harp on again about the golden era, but remember the times when the best fought the best without worrying about an extra million dollars or not. Guys like Leonard and Hearns beat Spence and Crawford comfortably. My point is these fighters are not that great and are likely overestimating their market value.

With ESPN and PBC it will boost the sales like it did with Fury vs Wilder and I think this fight can do as much or more to be honest.
Aside from hardcore boxing fans I don't think there's enough casuals interested in this fight to make it financially successful.
I do find it strange that Crawford's talking about money now.
IMO Arum has Brook in line next. Then the winner or Ramirez / Taylor.Last edited by Idunnoshet; 03-11-2020, 09:35 AM.

“Sometimes there isn’t enough money to break down for everybody. It takes a lot of money to put on a show. There’s a lot of money that goes into making fights, and a lot of people don’t understand that. It’s not about two people saying ‘we want to fight.’” - Terence Crawford
Seems like Bud is finally getting it!

“If it makes sense, then a fight can get made. There are no hurdles. It’s all about money at the end of the day. If there is enough money on the table, then a fight is going to get made. If there are two promotional companies coming together, we all gotta eat,” said Crawford. “Sometimes there isn’t enough money to break down for everybody. It takes a lot of money to put on a show.
