Because they have been trash for years and we are sick of their terrible commentating. They also banned haymon fighters, who has the biggest stable in boxing, and that was a TERRIBLE mistake.
They decided not to support young american fighters and paid the price!!!!
Showtime/FOX/ESPN is where boxing lives now

Originally posted by DramaShow View Posthave any of the young, american stars built themselves into star attractions elsewhere? or been involved in a fight anywhere near as big as the one hbo last showed with canelo and golovkin? what you all seem to be failing to understand is that they werent forced into quitting, they have just decided theres better options to invest in.
Showtime has put on the best fights this year by far, with HBO gone making certain fights has just gotten a lot easier!

because how hbo treated haymon and all its certain demographic fighters and tried so badly to hype foreigners I assume. im not celebrating but their agenda was played out and the writing was on the wall. great legacy, sad how they went out on a trashy tacky note. And its funny that the very posters who said haymon would fail and updated the boards with every mishap that happened with PBC are now asking this question. moving along.... any fights this weekend?
