All one has to don is watch the all access epilogue episodes to the Cotto vs Mayweather and trout fights.

Floyd is incredibly hard to hit and was in pain after Cotto. Trout was a lot bigger than cotto and was in pain after fighting Cotto.

This was one of my favorite fights also, Mayweather vs. Cotto.

Man to man, I think Mayweather respected Cotto a lot more than his other fighters he fought.
