      I like Duddy.

He seems to really like fighting. And his heart outweights his skills by a 100%, if he fought Pavlik he would stand in front of him until Pavlik removed his last tooth and his corner threw the towel in....and some false teeth.

How can you not like that? go Duddy.

It's like people can't appreciate the C-Class fighters anymore.

and that's him in a nutshell. He is what you call an old school fighting man. A real fighter. A title that shouldn't be reserved only for the talented.

Yeah but guys like that dont last long until they drastically change their style like MAB did to good effect and to a lesser extent how Gatti changed to more of a boxer vs brawler. If Duddy wants a long career he needs to adapt his style for longevity.

Yep he'll burn out quickly but probably he'll make his promoters rich before they dump him.

yep a lot of money to be made for being Irish in New York.

Duddy also fits in with the Irish fighter stereotype, there is a far more talented Irish fighter called Peter McCloskey but he is a slick fighter, who wants to see a slick Irish fighter it's just wrong.
