I know that a few of Gesta's recent wins have been via stoppages. However, I'm not sold that it has to do with his power, but, the level of opposition he has been facing.

The kid is talented. He's more of a counter-puncher. With what I've seen from his recent fights, he would have to do more if he were to face someone like Rios. I definitely don't think he'll have the luxury to sit back and pick n' pop Rios whenever he feels like. I'd like to see him create opportunities rather than wait for them.

I see some similarities between him and Viloria, in that, he's gonna have difficulties against terrific volume punchers. And another thing to is, I hardly if ever seen him jab much. Having no jab and you're short as it is, it's gonna be a problem against better foes.

Maganda galaw nito at mukhang nag-iisip. Again as always he may need to have his defense worked out, iba ng level pag pumapalo na sya ng mga world champs. I think there are clamor for him to face Katsidis, who is a good measuring stick. After matalo ni Pac ni Marquez sana magtapat din sila ni Gesta. That will instantly catapult him to stardom.

I noticed Bernabe got improvements in footwork.

His power has been evident to me since his first pro fight. This dude got real power behind those punches.
