Once again, Bernard Hopkins will be testing himself at an advanced age against a younger titleholder. This time, it will be a 48-year-old Hopkins facing a 31-year-old Tavoris Cloud on March 9 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

BoxingScene.com recently caught up with longtime Hopkins trainer Naazim Richardson to discuss the bout. [Click Here To Read More]

Rough fight for a 48-year old Hopkins, expect a low volume of punches

bhop will take this kid's heart early. cloud is pure hype, limited skills and generalship, just power. bhop will frustrate and tag him all night, cloud won't get into a groove from the opening bell. bhop too cagey and smart for someone as limited as cloud

Might see Nard stopped in this one.

1 of B-Hops biggest fans on this site. But I'm not so sure he can beat Cloud. I hope he does. Just to see the hate he gets. While other greats are trying to fight red headed bums, lol!!

No but really, I do hope Cloud doesn't stop the Hop. That's a very real possibility in this fight. Scary stuff.

I can't get the Campillo fight out of my head.

This one will be close in my opinion. Clouds higher activity and better physical attributes should overcome Hopkins' guile at times, but Hopkins is obviously smart enough to tag Cloud a lot in the same way Campillo did.

I predict a very hard to score fight, with half the rounds being neck and neck.

Father time is nothing to be played with. Like I said I love B-Hop, but he's no spring chicken & IMO Cloud still has the great equalizer in droves. How much punishment can a 50 year old chin stand up to bro??
