Why is there so much bigotry against Muslims?

The media obviously. Don't believe what they've got to say, just like the whole 'We killed Osama'. The media are c*nts for diluting the masses, and causing people to think in a certain way.

The media went crazy after 9 11 and put a lot of air time footage of Islamic extremists like Abdul Hamza and Bakri. Those guys would come out with comments like the UK was a Muslim country filled with squatters and over time Muslims would breed them into the minority and drive them into the sea.
In certain areas there are Muslim ghettos that a lot of people resent where there has been no attempt to intergrate. Once the media got going the pent up resentment was bound to surface.
The media takes most the blame for cultivating hatred of Muslims but the hard core Islamic extremists don't do the moderate Muslims any favours. Any religion that sets it's self up as being superior to the rest (Kafir) is always going to run into problems. This is one of the reasons Jews are also resented.

Women and religious minorities have alot of rights in Muslim countries. Alot of the times rights are denied is down to their culture not the religon itself. Alot of its propaganda and if you think womens rights arent abused in other countries/religons then your deluded.

Alot of the stuff that they make women do pre date Islam.. It's a culture thing.

I agree some women in other non islamic countries are abused,But they receive justice from the court of law.How about state inflicted injustice towards women by Islamic states?.
