Yup - that's boxing for you. It's 12 rounds, remember? That's why you never discount a technically sound fighter of Marquez's caliber in a 12 round fight - they're dangerous all 12. And, this was not in the amateurs where we're counting punches; here one punch could (and did) make a difference in the fight. Marquez coulda-shoulda-woulda won the first 3 fights in the series with Pacquiao, but he didn't... classic series, wasn't it?

Marquez is like Cartman....He's taking his ball and going home.

He should just stay quiet about not wanting to fight Pacquiao again. He mentioned that he could get hurt. Duh, did he forget which sport he's in? His win over Pacquiao turned him into a little weasel.

JMM closed the chapter on PAC. He knocked him down in the 3rd and then the 6th with killer right! Case closed!!

Is it really keeping honor and glory if you're so scared to rematch the guy that you turn down THAT much money? I could understand under normal circumstances, but to turn down THAT much, after the other guy gave you three rematches, looks bad. I think the only thing that saves JMM's "honor" in this case is that the honor was to go to the Philippines. If it was at a neutral site, and he rejected that much, that's a straight up duck regardless of what happened in the last fight.

            Lool.

Even if it were true, he'd be an idiot to reject that money just because he was scared of a controversial decision. Nothing was going to take away that KO. You could've cashed in and still had your moment.

If he lost another controversial decision, so what? It doesn't change anything about you as a fighter.

              Fake news here.

Besides no way Manny would win a fight in such dominating fashion.

Good call JMM to hang it up!

Who offered him that kind of money??
Probably the same 'investors' who wanted Pacquiao to fight Amir Khan in Dubai.

A trilogy well worth a HBO documentary in the future. Hope they get around to it.

Can’t believe he turned down 100mil. That’s crazy.
