Last time Martinez won a fight was 2008.

      Just saying.

I was really surprised when he lost that decision. I thought he won that fight 8-4.

I remember times in that fight when Sergio wasnt doing anything. Wasnt blocking or punching. After the fight he said he took rounds off to conserve energy to keep up with Paul and he paid for it.

Officially. Realistically, plenty of people have bad luck runs. Does it change their greatness or lack thereof?

He went 2-0 in 2009 in my eyes.

He admitted he took rounds off vs. Williams.

He was robbed against Cintron yes.

He was not robbed against Williams. I scored the by the slightest in margins for Martinez. It was a close fight that could have been interpreted to go either way. If I watched it again I may have sided with Williams. It was not a robbery.

Why bring this up? He is a good fighter.

I think no one really overrates him without any ulterior motive.

hes a decent fighter, just wrong end of a close decision. He still needs to prove himself
