I know that Hearns/Hagler is considered a great first round but I
think the following 1st rounds are better

# 1...Archie. Moore vs Yvon Durelle I
# 2...Juan Meza vs Jaime Garza
# 3...Floyd Patterson vs Ingemar Johannsen III

I haven't seen all the opening rounds of Bobby Chacon, Saad Muhammad
or Marvin Johnson but I bet there is at least one great opening
round among them

THE greatest first round is Louis vs Schmeling!!!!

It was a devasting performance by Joe avenging a brutal loss to Max. The real devastation was to Hitlers ego as the German dictator was in the midst of his reign over innocent people throughout Europe! Joe's victory was THE most meaningfull single pro boxing bout ever! Ray.

Frank Gedeon vs Alan Sanchez on telemundo in 2011. Back then I was going to upload all the wild rounds to youtube but after a few months I got away from it. I really should have stuck with it and had a wild rounds collection.

This was another one from the same time period. It isn't a first round but if you skip to half way through the round it gets pretty wild.
