DAZN is a totally new OTT that only the hardcore Boxing/MMA fans know about and there are not many hardcore fans anymore.

Because he saw the numbers while negotiating.

Much more likely he's just repeating what Frank Warren said...who's repeating what Meltzer said.

These numbers have never been verified. That's not to say they're not true, of course.

Negotiating what? Why would DAZN show him Joshua numbers? You clown

            Lol.

Hearn built Whyte into a star and this is how he repays him? He's a mediocre talent, and makes good money thanks to Hearns promotion.

How? did the DAZN people tell him: "look, we did as little as 17k viewers, our app sucks, please work with us"?

This must tie in with Dave Meltzer's report of Canelo V Fielding doing absolutely dog **** numbers on DAZN too. I believe it was around 50000 people who only watched it and a lot of people started crying and getting their genitals moist because the Canelo fight tanked.

Joshua V Povetkin 17k, Canelo V Fielding apparently awful... what do you think MCC?

And this was before Canelo went over there. The number itself isn't surprising at all. What was stupid was when Hearn tried to say the number of viewers were less but not that off of what Joshua did on SHO. Really? So he's saying there were close to 300k viewers? Not a chance in hell. But of course, since they won't reveal the numbers we won't ever know for sure.

LOL Anthony Joshua must be feeling absolutely fooking embarrassed that his goofy face can only do 17,000 viewers on some crappy mobile app in America. Basically he ain't ***** hahaha LOL.

Did you read the first statement where he asked Hearn if he was a DAZN fighter? That's why his last fight ended up on Showtime because DAZN didn't want to pay him the money.
