I already understand all of that. The question is how do we know that Showtime Championship boxing is going out of business?

The answer is we don't. That is my only argument. There is no way of substantiating the rumor mill.

Besides, if they were indeed pulling the plug on it's boxing programming then why wouldn't they allow Al Haymon to let Wilder fight on DAZN. Also why would they pay him $10mil just to fight a mandatory defense on their network?
