  • Strava App training/ contest

Hello, Dunno if anyone uses strava, its a App aimed predominantly for cyclists but has a run facility too.
Does anyone fancy a bit of a winter training/ competition via it as it has a social element to it too you can follow people etc.
I am open to cycling or run challenges...

strava is a good app. i have tried a few running apps and personally it is my favourite.
i havn't sorted out all the splits online though which would make it better.

i have used endomondo which is very similar, run keeper and i another one which wasnt very good.

as for the point of the thread, i rarely run, and when i do i usually only run a mile, the quickest I did it was 5:45 which is nothing to be proud of. i usually do it about 6:30 -7

i need to start running more so i probably should actually get involved in this but i will not be able to motivate myself

It'd be good, all standards welcome plus bit of motivational help.
Well I run about 7- 7:30 min miles at the moment, usually run about 5 miles.
