You would have a good point if Mayweather was being forced to sign with Arum in order to get the biggest payday in boxing history by fighting Manny.

However, that is not the case. Forcing Manny to sign with Mayweather promotions is just another roadblock

Bradley wasn't "forced" to sign Top Rank, he was in between promoters and Top Rank signed him.

Mosley fought with Top Rank for that one fight, and then as far as I know became a Golden Boy fighter immediately after.

i think hes got a point. it is not such a strange request for mayweather to say ok do this and this and this and this. but at the same time pacquiao isnt exactly rod salka on the negotiating table so this type of request = no, and you have to expect that. otherwise, you can just make up any **** (must fight not in trunks but in vs thongs and seriously who would say yes to that?) and then blame it on the other guy saying no and then it means he dont wanna fight. well if he really wanted the fight he would choose the pink ones right?

Marquez is technically a Zanfer fighter and they work closely with Top Tank. But again: Marquez is basically free agent

At the end of the day, what you have to ask is if the demands are (a) necessary and (b) reasonable.

The drug-testing wasn't necessary but it wasn't unreasonable either. Expecting Pacquiao to cut his long-time promoter out of his biggest fight is neither necessary nor reasonable.

Someone making unnecessary and unreasonable requests is someone who doesn't really want to reach a deal. But we've been through all this before.
