Both Foreman and Qawi were in terrible shape for that fight.

But Wilder is the same weight as Foreman. Not as physical, but he can actually fight past the 8th Round.

He also never let anyone as bad as Peralta or Young make it to the final bell.

He never dodged anyone as small as Jerry Quarry.

I get it. You like old time fighters. But this is getting ridiculous.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think weight classes even exist?

In your world, did George FOreman KO Ali in the Congo?

      - -Foreman was 235 for Qawi and looked like a speedo model.

Bounced him into the ropes repeatedly before stopping him.

      You even watch boxing?

How tough was qawi though. 5 ft 7 light heavy he took some nasty shots and never really went down

Foreman old time? No my bias has to do with the assumption that weight is the only factor regarding size. It is an advantage for sure, but the heavyweight division is an open division for a reason. Technically one can be a heavyweight at any weight, something to think about.

You always give the benefit of the doubt to your guy Rusty! Also I am not critiquing Wilder, on the contrary, I am making the point that weight, size is not what makes Wilder the puncher he is.

            - -Woulda been in the 5th Row a dozen x but for ropes.

Foreman was fighting short guys in anticipation of the Tyson fight that Iron Mike ended up backing out of.

A lot of historians have been recently praising Wilder's one-punch power as it's nothing none of them have ever seen.

                - -And his chin has held up despite early setbacks, yet he was slow to develop and reliant on low level journeymen and TBAs.

                Which beggars the ?

How come he's the single belt holder in a 5 belt era of 4 belt holders with lineage that predates his sole belt?

And refused to fight the modern 4 belt holder(s)?

Style wise Wilder is one of the few current heavyweights I think Rocky could beat. Deontay has zero ability to fight in the inside and that’s where the fight would take place from the first bell. Without the ability to roll with punches and chop away at Rocky in between shots like Walcott did then it’s one sided.

lol at the delusionals in here.

Rocky was a light heavy or super middleweight.

Deontay knocks super heavies out cold.

Rocky gets sparked out cold in round 1 and taken away in a stretcher.
