I love the doors man. Seriously, but they never topped the first album. Alice Cooper etc probably never met Keith Moon. That boy could do drugs like a motherfu-cker. They weren't just on the psychedelics either amphetamines, smack, coke, prescriptions...check him out

I don't even see how this is close. I don't understand the appeal of the Doors and the Who are just so much more technically sound. The Who all the way.

doors for me, by a long way. I never really was into the who at all.

But the Doors were thrust upon me by a mate who played them non stop. didnt like them much at the start, now i ****ing love them. Maybe if someone did the same with the who id grow to love them too but i cant see it.

Doors are ok, but c'mon... I don't think people realize just how long The Who was around and how many great songs they put out.
