  • Hardest hitting Welter/Light/Middle?

ive got a question for you guys. i was going to ask this in NSB, bur from experience i know that it is not as serious in there.

so, who do you consider the hardest hitting welterweight of all time? name a few who can compete for the top spot.

i was also wondering about the lightweights and middleweights. myself, im pretty new to boxing (2years) so i really cant say for myself so, please help me out

I'd say it's between Trinidad, Hearns and SRR, but it's all according to opinion.. Personally, i'd pick the hitman..

        Robinson at welterweight.

        Ketchel or Jackson at middleweight.

For some reason I'm pulling a blank for a guy at lightweight.

        Edit: Arguello for lightweight maybe?

They're hard punchers but Ketchel and Jackson are hard punchers, different level IMO.

At Welter, i'd say Robinson, followed by Hearns.

Middleweight - Jackson is number 1. Ketchel, Fitzsimmons and McClellan.

              Lightweight is tough. Duran perhaps?

154? It would be Hearns and Jackson equal for me. I still can't look past the fact that Hearns knocked out Duran (no one else could, apart from Joppy when Duran was fifty and that wasn't really a knock out as such) as well as him moving up from WW to CW and still knocking guys out with one single punch.

160? Ketchel is of course a definite for MW I think.

                147? Cuevas or Hearns again?

                Langford could be in somewhere.

Sorry, i miss-read it as welter and light-middle..

                  Lew Jenkins - light
                  Tommy Hearns - welter
                  Stanley Ketchell - Middle

Good calls with Jackson and Mugabe, definitely 1 and 2 at light middle..
