Osmiri "El Moro Jr" Fernández used to be Gamboa's trainer in his 1st few pro fights & got fired after Gamboa's fight against Darling Jimenez..In that fight Jimenez took Gamboa to the distance for 1st time & also knocked down Gamboa for the 1st time(as a pro) in the 4th & after that round ended, Fernández(Gamboa's trainer) didn't give Gamboa any instructions as a matter of fact he didn't even say a word, no one was talking in Gamboa's corner..Even thou it was a flash knock down, they acted like they were in shock after the KD & didn't know how to handle the situation & after the fight Gamboa's handlers got rid of him..Let's see what game plan he brings against Rios..

Quick question; would you happen to know if gamboa was ever trained by cottos current trainer?

His name is Pedro Diaz and he has worked with a few big named fighters including Jean Pascal and Solis.

                Abril scared!!!

Abril is scared!!!!! HE cant even stand in front of Rios without his hand covering his jaw!!!

Never in the history of boxing have i seen someone do that!!! so he is afraid of rios by getting in his face and holding his hand over his jaw!! If you have your hand covering your jaw when you are in someones face that shows you are scared of what the other guy Might do!!!

2nd i know people (abril fans) are gonna say he was being smart protecting himself!!!

but if you are in someones face you want to show dominance not fear of being hit!!!

last he pushes rios and jumps 20 feet back!!!

bottom line Abril already showed fear and established wo is dominant!!!

                RIOS WINS!!!

                AGAIN!!!!

So when Abril gets knocked the fuck out can we say that Cuban boxing isn't **** compared to American boxing? Cuba isn't even a top 5 nation in boxing and this guy is calling it superior to American boxing.

The last thing you want to do with a better fighter is give him extra motivation. Abril needs to keep his mouth shut and hope Brandon underestimates him.
