  • When Was the Last Time a Promoter Stacked the Undercard like Eddie Has Done?

So this Saturday according to Boxrec we have:

    No.1 Super-Middleweight vs No.10 Middleweight
    No.1 women's Lightweight vs No.2 women's Lightweight
No.21 Light-heavyweight vs Perriban not active so no ranking but approx no.42 Super-Middeweight
    No.24 Welterweight vs No.26 Welterweight
    No.30 Super-Lightweight vs No.50 Super-Lightweight

Anyone like to suggest an undercard that had more competitive, high quality matchups on PAPER than we have this Saturday?

This undercard was built for UK ppv audience to watch Buatsi, Kelly, Smith and Katie Taylor in MSG

Surprised they don't have Tom Little and Cheesman on the card too

I didn't say this was the best undercard ever, far from it but seems to be better than most in recent memory. Yes the Pac-Thurman undercard is great. But the best I can remember is Garcia-Matthysee on the Mayweather-Canelo undercard

                The GGG/Jacobs undercard was better.

I said specifically in the original post on PAPER, not what your subjective opinion is.

                    Canelo Jacobs undercard:

                    No.5 Super-Middleweight vs No.30 Super-Middleweight
                    No.6 Super-Featherweight vs No.134 Super-Featherweight
                    No.23 Featherweight vs No.43 Featherweight
                    No.48 Super-Lightweight vs No.85 Super-Lightweight
                    No.46 Featherweight vs No.108 Featherweight
                    No.20 Welterweight vs No.31 Welterweight

So not only were most of the fighters lower ranked but were also further apart from the rankings.
