Don't hold your breath waiting for it too happen. This is a huge step up in class for brook and I'm sure he'd be ready but I see Devon winning a close (maybe disputed) decision 115-113ish

How can eddie say if kell wins a world title he would dictate terms against khan, there are so many belts in boxing now it has become belts are useless, khan is a much bigger draw in the UK than Kell is and khan should dictate terms

Hearn speaks from his ass most of the time sometimes you wonder how he became a promoter.

As for Kell Brook, he'snt special unless if the special means ******ed or special needs. He's not winning this fight let alone a round. He might even get knocked out because he's such a slow fighter he makes steam trains look fast. His defence is aweful and anyone who thinks Brook is good based on the last bum he fought needs a psychiatric check up.

Ricky Hatton might fancy the Brook fight if he beats Alexander (and obviously if Hatton gets by Senchenko).

The unbeaten Sheffield light-welterweight last month earned the right to be the IBF mandatory challenger with a third-round demolition of Hector Saldivia, but suggested afterwards he may opt to pursue a domestic grudge match with Khan instead.

But after talks with Hearn, the 26-year-old looks set to head stateside in January for a fight with current belt holder Devon Alexander, who won the title last month with a points win over Randall Bailey.

Kell Brook is not a light-welterweight. Pretty much stopped reading after that.

Is Khan a bigger draw in the UK? Or is he a bigger name?
I don't think Khan has that many fans left after his crap performances and his ridiculous arrogance. Kell has done record numbers on Sky recently (if you believe what Eddie Hearn says) and his profile will only increase IF he beats Alexander.
In terms of who wins the fight, let's not forget that Khan has struggled to take shots at 140 and Brook is a big Welterweight who hits pretty hard.
Idon't think Khan should move up Welterweight tbh.

Should Brook beat Alexander his status changes in a big way and he will get a lot of publicity. Khan's stock has taken a big knock after getting exposed by Peterson and Garcia. He has no title and needs one. If Brook has a title Khan needs him more than the other way round. All this is dependant on Brook beating Alexander. Without the title Brook's leverage is not strong.

Khan is the cashcow in the UK south of the heavyweights. He is in a different market and class.Whether people like to see him lose or win people still pay to watch Khan fight. If you were to brand Khan in the UK he's a premium brand.Kell Brook sells the Sheffield Arena but Khan sells any arena in the UK.Besides Brook's only known in the UK so any attempt in making the purse 50-50 is nothing short of ducking or an overinflated view of who Kell Brook is.It's just like when Manny Pacquiao thinks his brand is equal to Mayweather's,it's not just pathetic but obvious signs of schizophrenia.
