do you know how many times the u.s. got involved militarily?

none. zero. not once.



yet for some reason everyone talks as if the united states jumps into israeli fights or something.

What about satalite information and US arminents. F16s are made in the States.

the israelis developed their own version of the f-16 (just like they made their own version of the french mirage 3/5 fighters)

americans asked them not to make their own planes and just buy from them. which makes sense.

plans for a naval blockade of iran/prevention of iranian blockade of the persian gulf are on the table now.


2. the u.s. would not want to get involved militarily if israel is at war. it's politics. you don't want to be seen fighting with israelis.

if the u.s. does do something militarily. israel will be asked to stay the fuck away.

think 1st gulf war. we had to bribe the israelis to not strike back at iraq when saddam was launching scud missiles at them.

fighting side by side with israel is a big no-no.

i was talking about back in the days. when iran was america's darling in the area. we gave iran everything we had available back in the days. their the only country we ever sold the f-14's to. (much more advanced than f-15 and f-16 back in the days)


idf doesn't use f/a-18's and f/a-18's are not more agile than f-16's. f/a-18's lost to the f-16 in the lightweight fighter competition. that's why the u.s. air force bought the f-16 instead. the navy bought f/a-18's because they're twin engines. navy prefers twin engined fighters over single engined since their planes fly over water.

the israelis just use f-15 and f-16.

they buy stripped down u.s. models and put their own "better" electronics and hardware on it.


i think the "super" versions of the f/a-18's are an option for the israelis if f-35 lightning fails. (which might)

Anybody that says Israel will win because of the US are idiots.

If you looks at Israel's 7 wars, 4 major, you will see that the US was NEVER involved. They supplied arms and supplies just like any ally. Israel wins purely based on military strategy. Just look at the Yom Kippur war where Israel was completely surprised by a combined 4 Armies supported by 12 other countries including the USSR and only had supply aid from 1 country, the US. In 3 weeks they captured the Sinai peninsula encircling the egyption 3rd army and also the Golan height pushing deep into Syria towards Damascus.

Just a couple weeks ago Russia sold 24 MiG-29M/M2 fighter jets and eight Buk-M2E air-defense systems to Syria. A contract for the supply of Bastion anti-ship missile systems armed with SS-N-26 Yakhont supersonic cruise missiles is currently under implementation.

Oh but Israel wins because they have aid but nobody else does
