If Pacquiao was to beat Mayweather...IF would he be the GOAT?

A Pacquiao win over Mayweather would cement Pacquiao's legacy as greater than Mayweather. Pacquiao would have been the only guy to officially give Mayweather a lost.

Simply put no. Mayweather could probably be Pacquiao's greatest victory although his destruction of Barrera is great competition but considering the likes of Robinson, Ali, Pep, Leonard, Duran and Armstrong are often mentioned amongst the greatest, there is nothing Pacquiao or for that matter Mayweather could do to warrant a place above them.

The fight and the win would however dispel any notion of Mayweather being ranked above Pacquiao.

It would put him back ahead of Floyd. He would need like three Floyds to even smell the Top 5. Barrera and Floyd aren't enough IMO.

Yea that KO to Marquez ruined his legacy/aura. He shoulda just sat out after the margarito fight until the floyd fight. Cuz hey if he lost to floyd nothing would happen to his legacy, but losing to a lesser fighter would.

But that KO of May would def put him back on top over may. May has took the lead recently with pac slipping, tripping and falling flat on his face
