The Jacobs fight showed he can go 12 rounds and not panic or lose his confidence and fall apart. Many thought he would get frustrated and get careless if he couldnt get the k.o. in a fight but he showed otherwise & didnt take his foot off the gas. GGG is a disciplined boxer many try to paint him or perceive him as a sloppy slugger but if you really watch his fights you know that he can do both whenever he pleases.

So friggin stupid this thread. He never said he went easy on Jacobs to get the Canelo fight. All he said is that the Jacobs fight went the distance and it made for a more attractive reason for the Team Canelo. Pretty simple statement really with no preconceived notions.
