Maybe. Tarver has lost before and has been on the floor a time or two but never picking up quarters on the floor four times within seven rounds and TKO'ed.

Maybe Joshua can find the mental confidence to come back, and the mentality to fight taller, use his jab, and some defense.

I don't agree. AJ was the champion of the world. He had better take the rematch now. Did he suddenly forget how to fight? If he can't beat Ruiz in December he won't beat him after a practice fight or two. Meanwhile if he doesn't rematch him now someone else might beat Ruiz and he may not even give AJ a chance to win back his titles. If he can't do it now then he can't do it later.
