    Ortiz is only 23 or so...and Canelo alvarez is 20 yrs old.

      You never know what future talents are lurking in the shadows. Who ever would;ve thought a little southpaw from the phillipenes would come and terrorize almost anyone from flyweight on up.

      I know stewart could be lying, but he said pac might just be the best fighter he has ever seen in his life time.

            makes no sense in terms of this topic.

            Boxing was popular in the 80s and 90s where it was nationally covered by all the sports networks

            now ESPN spends about 5 minutes on a big boxing fight(like Pac/marg today for example) then moves on to some irrelevant college football game

                There is always another fighter coming up. However, this discussion exists decade after decade.

                Nobody here can really predict who that next Pacquiao, or DLH will be, that's the beautiful nature of boxing.
