  • anyone have a good training regiment for back muscles?

im looking to increase the power of my punch more, i have short compact punches and i heard that building up my back muscles will make my punches stronger. anyone got a good training regiment to build them up while not boxing?
    thanks

Pullups, Chinups and towel pullups. Deadlifts, cleans and snatches. Those are all the exercises I've found to be the best for that purpose. A strong back helps particularly with shovel hooks and uppercuts. I still dont understand how the heck a strong back helps so much but it does...

It helps because your turning from your foot, and all the power goes up through your legs and then you twist from your hips and the power goes through the back into your shot, or thats the way Tyson explained it anyway, and that man had some ****ing uppercut, and a big back lol

Try doing handstand push ups, alot of people will tell you not to do it cos its to hard for someone just startin out at training, but most things are hard when you start them they will get easier .

http://www.kulturystyka.pl/atlas/plecy.asp - there you have got animations. Just do the same exercises. If you want to know more I can translate it but I think these animations should be enough

            Remember one thing:

Train only one big part of your muscles at once (one training = one big part). Don't train your chest (thorax) and after that your back.

3 trainings per week: 1st day chest (thorax) + biceps, 2nd day back + triceps, 3rd day legs + shoulders. <-- this is only a small example.
