If it wasn't drinking it sure as hell was something. He looked like utter crap against Martinez.

Can't wait for Pavlik's return. Get ready to see some of HBO's best production work with an overdramatic comeback story. War Ghost!

that's a sign of alcohol addiction...when you refuse to believe it's affecting your performance. drop the bottle and fight motherfacker!

i'm a fan of pavlik by the way.

Pavlik didnt look that bad, he was doing good in the middle rounds, and martinez had the round where he opened the cuts and took advantage of that and tore pav apart.

well, he bled like a drunk irishman against martinez so maybe it affected him at the very least in that regard.

guys who drink a lot bleed a lot - ricky hatton, the late chavez sr for example.

Of course drinking didn't affect him whatsoever! That's the reason why all great boxers of all eras drank to their heart's delight.....LOL

Look at Hopkins..... Homeboy doest drink and that's the reason he is one of the worst fighters of our era! Another example is Hatton, before every fight he down a pint!

Pavlik is right.... The thing is that now without alcohol his performance will suffer....LOL
