  • Did Pep really won a round without trowing a punch?

Help me guys. I'm seeing different accounts on same story.

Allegedly, Pep won 3rd round against Jackie Graves without throwing a punch. Boxrec said that that story has been "officially debunked", yet ESPN did report it as true. I tried to google it, but I'm getting different stories. And I can't find this fight anywhere.

So, what do you know? Did he or didn't he? And please tell me your source.

    Thank you

It comes from a joke he tried to tell, how he was throwing punches but not trying to land too hard. That got extrapolated to him winning without throwing at all.

Thanks for this. Did you read it in some bio or...?

Sorry for asking, but I'd really like reliable source, so I can fainlly put it to rest.

Altho story really sounds fictional, I saw that ESPN's Friday night classic told it as true.

Well the source is, the fight it was in the Newspaper stated that the fight was a war, and the infamous round was supposedly contained the greatest chunk of the action.

I can't find the link forgot to save it.

It was suppose to have happened in the 3rd round against Jackie Graves. Here's the article in a paper that suggests something different.
