Portland Double Team Scheme
Doubling ball as the did versus GSW without Curry
can be effective if they neutralize KD and Klay (it’s suicide otherwise with Curry in the line up)
Trapping will force Nick Young, Quinn Cook, Iguodala to step up offensively. Pelicans will dare them to score
KD
Pocket pass out of KD/Big man PnR will be neutralized by Rondo. Passing over the top is better than the bounce
On the switch AD uses his length defending, gives space and this gives KD space to shoot
GSW Depth
W/o Curry Depth is GSWs advantage – Iguodala, Livingston and West. Other than that on paper the starters match up pretty well.
Pelicans will put pressure on Iguodala and Draymond to make 3s.
