  • How much muscle is too much muscle?

    I am 6 foot 1 and weigh in at around 200lbs, but i lok pretty slim really and want to beef up, how much weight should i aim to gain?

    if its lean muscle you add? 15 lbs max should be plenty

      6'1 try to get down to 150 then work your way up

            150 is way too light for 6'1 try 165 with no bodyfat maybe 170

                Are you guys kidding me? 150-170 is like no way, i'd be skin and bones, 190 would be bad enough, you guys are crazy!

                  If he's slim at 200 he can't get to 150 with out losing a serious amount of muscle and probably bone denisty, why the hell would he want to do both if his intent is to increase strength?

                  And on a tangental subject why do people think there is a perfect weight for a height with out knowing builds?

                  My friend is exactly my height, and 100lbs lighter than where I currently am, and 70lbs off of my ideal fighting weight. He could MAYBE put on 10 lbs of muscel on his frame maybe. My 0% body fat weight is 55lbs above his current weight.

                  We're the same height but we should never weigh the same.
