My dad had them he also had kidney and gallbladder stones.

never hear of tonsil stones but I did have kidney stones years ago...got up one morning to use bathroom and felt the worst pain ever that I dropped to my knees, thankfully I urinated the stone...wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy...
I stopped drinking soda and cut down on salt and been stone free since...

I have heard about that before. I heard the pain is one of the worst a man can experience. Hope i never have to deal with it!
