I hope you're not implying Margarito was a top fighter @ 154 after getting a career ending injury and that the beating and humiliation he gave Cotto in 2008 doesn't count.

you don't think Chavez jr or Broner would get title fights if they lost? stars/earners/potential stars will always get title shots.

      Cotto is overrated though

      He kicked Margaritos a$$ though

How the hell can you support a cheating piece of horse dung?

but he beat Mayorga so he's going to keep getting title fights
He didn't get horribly beat by Clottey... he got a horrible cut.

He obviously didn't get horribly beat by Mosley.

He obviously beat Margarito in the rematch.

All of which you already know, but for some reason you decided to type that.

He also doesn't keep getting title shots because he beat Mayorga... also of which, you're aware.

Are you kidding me? Floyd is the only legitimate loss on Miguels record. Dude beat a prime Mosley, Judah, Margarito and dont forget all the hard hitters he beat down on his way up. Cotto is top 10 P4P!

He's a "safe" opponent!! He has enough style and class to make a good fight but he has no power at 47-54 so he's safe unless you make a mistake.
Personally I think he should quit because he's going to go in "tuff" sooner than later and why get hurt when you've made your money and your a quality man? A safe fighter will get into not so safe situations eventually! Ray
