Floyd's such a punk... it's all about money with him.... I remember when he was coming up on HBO and Britney Spears had a monstrous banner hanging off one of the hotels, Floyd was upset because a banner with his image wasn't hanging off the same hotel where he was fighting that night. Upset over a Britney Spears banner? Come on, nobody even knew who he was at the time. It wasn't until he had the opportunity to blab his mouth away during the 24/7 shows prior to the Oscar De La Hoya fight that he gained any real mainstream recognition. Oscar made Floyd. His fighting style doesn't warrant the type of money he's asking for. What's keeping him going is his mouth, out of the ring antics, the Internet and his cherry-picking undefeated record, and of course, Manny Pacquiao. He's keeps using Pacquiao's name as a marketing tool, making money off Manny without ever fighting him. Ultimate b!tchness IMO. Floyd, quit bulls!tting, accept the fight with a reasonable pay split (50/50) and fight the best P4P fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao. Lose your "0" like a man.

And why in the hell you think Margarito chose to fight Mosley instead of a second Williams fight in 2009?

More money, and seemingly "easy money". While Williams was less money, and a fight Margarito thought he'd have a higher chance of losing.

By Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao sees the reason for his mega fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. not happening because Mayweather wants too much money. Pacquiao says Mayweather wants $100 million for the fight, and he sees this as a major reason why the two fighters haven’t set foot in the ring to fight.

Pacquiao said to Abs-CBN News, “I heard he’s asking $100 million. That’s what he’s asking for which is why the fight is not yet done. It’s no problem for me to get the smaller prize as long as the fight gets done.”
Mayweather obviously isn’t serious about asking for $100 million, and it’s surprising that Pacquiao is using this as an explanation for why the two fighters haven’t fought. That’s kind of weak. Mayweather and Pacquiao easily could have fought last year if Pacquiao had simply agreed to random blood testing that Mayweather was asking for in order to fight him. Pacquiao insisted on an incredible 24 day cut off for testing for performance enhancing drugs. In other words, Pacquiao would only fight Mayweather if he couldn’t be tested for 24 days before the fight.

They could test all they wanted beyond 24 days but not the 24 days leading up to the fight. Of course, Mayweather rejected that and there wasn’t a move by Pacquiao or is promoter Bob Arum to negotiate further by moving the testing closer to the fight. Instead, Pacquiao fought one of Arum’s Top Rank fighters Joshua Clottey in one of the most boring fights of 2010.
