the school boy aba comp is now called the golden gloves competition yes, there are four 'classes' (based on age) and then weight divisions within each one, the oldest one is 14-16. Its still run by the same people (ABAE) but its just called something else.
There is no golden gloves for adults as such, but the ABA comp serves pretty much the same purpose, except its one for the whole of the uk, not regional like the golden gloves. The abas carry the same weight with regards to national selection as the gloves does in america
