thats why sandman wasnt in wwe or wcw too long if he was ever in either. he was a hardcore wrestler who can make money in japan & indie circuit where hardcore rules are the norm

Scripted material have hurt both Rock and Stone Cold movies imo. Dwayne has just been better at adapting to the medium.

Throw both in the ring with a live mic and you can see that not being able to ad-lib holds them back instantly.

Not being able to wrestle at the time had a lot to do with that (he had a career ending neck issue then). Vince should've just kept him off TV instead of the GM gimmick where he comes out in his ATV just to run talent down and dish out stunners every week.

96 - '01 sounds about right. It all went downhill when he put Triple H over and formed an alliance with him. He should've never did that. It made his DTA character look weak.
