  • Comments Thread For: Team Haye: Wladimir Was Business, David Hates Chisora

Adam Booth insists former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is in frightening condition as he prepares to meet an opponent he "hates".

Haye faces British rival Dereck Chisora at Upton Park on Saturday in a heavyweight showdown mired in controversy.

The rivals brawled at a press conference after Chisora's WBC title loss to Vitali Klitschko in February.

And Haye's dislike for Chisora is genuine according to his trainer Booth.

Hope neither one over-trained, and will be healthy. The fight could be quite entertaining.

So he's basically admitting the Wlad fight was for the payday and nothing else. As if there was any doubt after that "performance" he put in.

Naah, I think he tried but Wlad was so much bigger than him so he went into survival mode between rounds 6-11. They're fairly equal in most attributes except for size (and maybe class - in which Wlad has the advantage in both).

But Haye is a master promoter & there may still be a few tickets left for sale.

"When has he ever failed to be aggressive before?"

Erm, for 12 rounds against Valuev?

Haye's MO as a heavyweight against anybody decent is to run like a b*tch and potshot. I'm sure he's going to be running like a rabbit from Chisora, but it's a small ring so hopefully Dereck will catch up to him.

Team Haye are sprouting rubbish. Haye gave his best shot v Klitschko and lost.

                  Chisora by TKO

He hates Chisora so much that it forced him out of 'retirement'.
