As reported on Friday, WBC female super featherweight champ Frida Wallberg suffered an upset TKO loss to LA-based Australian Diana Prazak tonight in the headliner of Golden Ring´s show in Stockholm, Sweden.

In the fight - Wallberg (11-2) was ahead on points after five but appeared to fading and Prazak (12-2) just kept coming and got through with a sweeping right hand in the seventh that buckled Wallberg´s knees - and she never seemed to recover. She looked a bit out of it in the corner but came out for the eight but was floored by a short hard left hook during an exchange from the challenger. It was an accident. I feel very sorry for her, she's a good boxer and a warrior.

She was dropped twice in the 8th round and the second time the fight was stopped. Sure, she didn't seem to be at 100% after the first knockdown, but she was still fighting and the ref gave her a chance to continue. The second time she was dropped hard and the ref did the right thing by stopping the fight.

I hope she gets better soon.
