Even with the disolved materia lthat is the ''world title'' these days it's hard to find a guy who had a belt and didn't fight a top 10 guy.

your statement is impossible to compute,any way you look at it a fighter to be a champ had to of fought a top 10 heavyweight

He owned the prestigious WBF heavyweight title.

Well he did last longer than Tim Sylvia did,I think he deserves as much credit for that as Sylvia does for breaking the "gentleman's agreement" to simply box Mercer in an mma bout

So were none of the Ten title defenses Balboa made against Top ten opposition?
It does seem they were against the kind of opposition that Balboa would look good against. I believe Mickey admitted as much
